Faculty of Pain Medicine

It has been another year of excitement for the Faculty of Pain Medicine Ireland. Inspite of all the difficulties and threats by the COVID pandemic we were able to smoothly run the Diploma and Fellowship exams in Pain Medicine.

The written part was online and the practicals took place in the CAI buliding. For overseas candidates taking the diploma, we were able to examine through Zoom.

All the candidates and examiners showed great deal of enthusiasm and commitment. For the first time medal was awarded to the best performing candidate in the Fellowship exit exam.

I would like to thank the the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland for the support they provided to conduct the exams and making it a huge success. Normal days are not far ahead. Wishing you all good health. Stay safe.
