What we're working on
TIVA Workshop
One of the Novel Sessions is a TIVA Workshop that will take place on Thursday 18th of May at 8.30 am.
Total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA) has a number of increasingly obvious advantages over inhalation techniques. Traditional anaesthesia teaching, however, is skewed towards inhalation such that most practitioners are more comfortable with this technique. TIVA is, incorrectly we believe, perceived as being complicated, difficult, and riskier.
The workshop aims to dispel myths and misunderstandings and to bridge the gap in translating theoretical knowledge into everyday practice.
A sustainable Congress is our priority
